Hologram Zoo Sydney
The Future of Learning with Holograms
A hologram is a special type of 3D image made out of light that looks real and can be seen from all sides without needing glasses or screens. Unlike regular 3D images that appear flat and only look 3D from certain angles, holograms float in space and can be viewed just like real objects.
Axiom Holographics is the world leader in creating these advanced holograms, using its technology in places like hotels, schools, and even military training centres. Hologram Zoo brings this exciting technology to students, allowing them to explore dinosaurs, space, and underwater worlds in a way that feels like they're really there.
Holograms combine science, technology, engineering, and creativity, making learning more interactive, immersive, and fun.
Science Centre - School Incursions
Free STEM Incursions
Coming Back for 2026!
Last year, we received a $1 million grant from the Australian government and to say thank you, we gave over 100 Brisbane schools free STEM incursions about the science behind 3D and hologram technology. It was such a huge success that we are bringing our free incursions back for 2026!

45-Minute
Guided Presentation
Each student will receive a pair of red-and-blue 3D glasses and a small 3D projection box to take home. The presentation lasts about 45 minutes and is conducted by one of our staff members.
We're flexible with scheduling and happy to visit whenever it's most convenient for you. We prefer to present to large groups, but are also happy to work with smaller groups or do multiple separate classes in one day.
Last year we completed over 100 incursions across Australia! Currently, we have booked with 50 schools and have 50 spaces remaining for this year.

A Zoo Made
of Laser Light
Think of it like a zoo, but instead of real animals, students explore life-sized holographic elephants, giraffes, dinosaurs, and more — all made from laser light! These incredible creatures move and interact, but because they're holograms, students can reach their hands right through them.
